Description: After many years working in Chinon, François-Xavier Barc created his own venture in 2010 to produce distinctive wines from carefully selected vineyards along the Loire Valley. "Éclaireurs de Loire" translates to "Scouts of the Loire," referring to François-Xavier Barc's selection of exceptional vineyard parcels throughout the region. Pleasure and quality are his guiding principles revealing the authenticity of the Loire valley. Classic Touraine Sauvignon Blanc with aromas of lemon verbena, gooseberry, and hints of fresh parsley. The palate reveals bright acidity throughout the length of the palate with notes of gooseberry, limesonte, and a pungent floral characteristic.
