After many years working in Chinon, François-Xavier Barc created his own venture in 2010 to produce distinctive wines from carefully selected vineyards along the Loire Valley. "Éclaireurs de Loire" translates to "Scouts of the Loire," referring to François-Xavier Barc's selection of exceptional vineyard parcels throughout the region. Pleasure and quality are his guiding principles, reflected in a demanding selection of sites, a sustainable approach to viticulture, and winemaking that reveals the authenticity of the Loire terroirs. A classic 100% Touraine Sauvignon Blanc with notes of lemon verbena and grapefruit, hints of tropical fruit, underlying minerality, and crisp acidity.
Food Pairing: Oysters, goat’s cheese, grilled prawns, Mediterranean cuisine, etc.
