Fire Fuego Skin Contact is a natural Sauvignon Blanc from Sonoma Valley crafted by Jack Sporer of FRES.CO. The grapes come from a vineyard planted in 1997 and farmed regeneratively by Eric and Holly Clouse. After hand harvesting, the wine spent 9 days whole cluster/carbonically fermenting in tank with a reverse saignée, where direct-pressed juice was pumped over the whole clusters. Ambient yeast fermentation began naturally after three days. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, with no additives or added sulfur (0/0), the wine shows aromas of citrus, grapefruit, and apricot with a fresh palate, gentle tannins, and light grip from skin contact. FRES.CO works with growers transitioning to organic and regenerative farming, and 1% of sales supports Zero Foodprint and agricultural climate solutions.
