Description: La Marchesana is a wine brand created by Filippo Cassano of Polvanera farm. The wine is made with the indigenous grape Susumaniello. La Marchesana wines are meant to be accessible and easy to drink. The choice to produce IGT rather than DOC wines allows for larger crops and greater immediacy in style, where the primary fruit essence of each grape imparts the foremost character to each wine.
