Description: In 1990 a few wine making families believed in the wine growing valley of Valdizarbe, and fought to resuscitate the wine growing history that dates back to the 15th century. Bodegas Nekea was formed to produce a diversity of high quality, affordable wines from both indigenous grapes and international varieties. 25 Vendimias is produced from a selection of Garnacha blanc, an indigenous variety from some of our estates best vineyards. Their oldest vineyards are Garnacha, planted in clay based soils at 600M in elevation between 80 and 130 years ago. This limited production wine of 5.555 bottles honors those pioneers who believed and committed themselves to recovering the viticultural tradition of their valley.
