Description: As Sardinia's foremost wine producer, Sella & Mosca was established over a century ago. The estate is surrounded by landscaped gardens and flowering oleanders, maritime pines, palm trees, and eucalyptus. The vineyards are located in rich limestone and clay soil while being influenced by the salt-laden mistral winds. The aromas are fairly clean with a hint of white flowers and mineral salt. The palate opens with notes of capers, saline, almonds, and a touch of lemon oil toward the finish. Nice medium weight with a round texture.
Food pairings: Seafood, shellfish, vegetables, anchovies, olive oil, pesto pasta, white pizza, poultry, etc.
