Honored in the Gambero Rosso Italian Wine Guide with Tre Bicchierri, the highest level a wine can receive, this jewel was cultivated with competence and love by the Rocca brothers who feel close to the land. The grapes are from a single vineyard 'Bric Mentina' nested on the scenic ridge of a hill in the village of Barbaresco. The bottles spend long, quiet months aging in their cellar deep under the ground, far from noise or motion, where the temp. is stable. . Intense, yet elegant nose of berry and floral.
Food pairing: beef: braised ,grilled, roasted or stewed, full flavored cheese, game, lamb.
