Description: Driven by passion for wine and the land, Pierre Riffault created the domaine in the 1980's. Currently, his son Bertrand runs the day-to-day operations. The family-owned farm is located in the heart of Sancerre, with vineyards located on sloping terrain with good sun exposure. This is a classic Sancerre with lots of minerality on the palate. Clean, bright aromas of quartz, and limestone. The acidity is vibrant and high-toned, which makes for the classic, racy style of Sancerre. Lots of limestone minerality and a hint of bitter greens with medium weight and a tart, thirst quenching finish.
