Description: Made from obscure indigenous grapes, this undiscovered jewel grown on steep slopes off the Basque coastline. Intense mineral, lemon and citrus perfume. On the palate it has some trapped CO2 for lift and clean brininess and crisp, bright acidity. This wine is from the oldest family in the region, who’s vineyards are so close to the ocean, they have to rinse off sea salt deposits on the grape skins before putting them into tanks.
