Description: Established in 1999 in Woodinville, Washington State, by Mark Ryan McNeilly, largely self-taught winemaker, having crushed and produced his first vintages in garages of friends and family. Washington State produces some of the finest grapes in the country, and they source from renowned vineyards. They create wines that represent our style with authentic varietal character, resulting in the highest quality we strive for each day. Aging or maturing the Viognier in multiple vessel contributes a distinct element to the final blend: stainless steel preserves the variety's delicate aromatics and lends brightness and precision to the fruit; the neutral French oak adds weight and textural complexity while allowing the natural aromatics to shine; and the concrete egg imparts a rounded, creamy mouthfeel through gentle micro-oxygenation, without contributing oak-derived flavors or masking aromatics.
