Semi-sweet, fruity, floral, light-body white Grape: Gewurztraminer. Region: Germany> Pfalz. A bit savory on the nose, tantalizing aromas of ripe, spiced peaches, lychee, roses, and hints of exotic herbs are also reflected on the palate. This semi-sweet Gewürztraminer is straightforward and tasty. Delicate in profile, it’s bright with acidity and boasts a pretty floral note on the finish. A wonderful companion for exotic, spicy food as the sweet, fruity flavors counterbalance spiciness. Pfalz is a key wine region in western Germany, located between the Rhine river and the low-lying Haardt mountain range (a natural continuation of the Alsace in France). In terms of both quality and quantity, Pfalz is one of Germany's most important regions, and one which shows great promise for the future.
