Description: In 1646 the Gresti family (grape growers) was asked by the Church to cultivate the vines surrounding the church of San Leonardo. By 1724 the Gresti family leased the vines and by 1770 the Gresti family purchased the land and vines. The estate has been in the family ever since.
San Leonardo is a skillful blend of wines from different grapes that are fermented and aged separately. The grapes are harvested when perfectly ripe. Magical heir to a tradition known the world over as Bordeaux blending (Meritage or Claret).
