Description: Founded in 1975, La Kiuva is a cooperative of 60 small growers. This region is high in the Alps (500 meters ASL). A UNESCO village which uses many of the indigenous grape varietals in the area. The main grape is Picotend (local clone of Nebbiolo). The wine is light ruby color with complex aromas of leather and cherry fruit. Displaying cranberry and cigar tobacco character on the palate.
