Description: Francesco Mariani believes in minimal-intervention; as long as he takes care of the land, the grapes will take care of the wine.
This wine displays shades of golden-raisin and a light copper hue. Aromas of hydrangea flower, bread yeast and an undertone of papaya. On the palate the wine shows good griping tannins upfront that create a dry mouthfeel with medium acidty. Long finish of papaya, spice, and brioche. Nice balance of acid/ alcohol.
Food Pairing: Curry chicken (curries), fried food, mackerel, calamari, Thai food, grilled octopus, etc.
