Description: Located in the hills of the ancient Roman city of Mevania, now Bevagna, for this reason they have chosen MEVANTE as the name of their estate. Producing wines from indigenous Umbrian grapes: Sagrantino, Grechetto and Trebbiano Spoletino (Birbantéo). The Birbantéo is the local name for Trebbiano Spoletino and we can see why they chose to label the bottle Birbantéo, this Trebbiano is not your simple bulk wine, this Trebbiano is native to Umbria and magnificent in taste, texture, and staying power.
