Description: Luce is a bold, Super Tuscan wine that blends the power of Sangiovese with the roundness of Merlot, creating a
unique expression of Montalcino. Born from a partnership between the Marchese Vittorio Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi, the wine combines ripe black fruits, particularly blackberry and mulberry, joined by hints of cocoa and sweet spices. On the palate it is harmonious and lively, with excellent structure, balanced by vibrant acidity and soft, silky tannins., showcasing the region’s distinctive character. The estate’s name, “Luce” (light), is inspired by the altar at Florence’s Santo Spirito church, reflecting the estate’s deep-rooted history and the balance between tradition and innovation.
