Product description

Description: Exotic and complex flavors make this wine so intriguing it’s hard to forget. The celebrated single vineyard ‘Coulee de Serrant’ has been consecutively harvesting Chenin Blanc since 1130. The wine is so unique, the vineyard is given its own appellation, which is to date the smallest appellation in France. The winemaker Nicolas Joly is known to be the godfather of the Biodynamic movement.

Combination of peach, quince, briny sea water, apricot pit, and an intense sense of terroir. These wines continue to evolve with aeration. Savennires makes some of the most age-defying white wines in the universe.

Decanting is usually accepted and opening 24 hours before serving is not unusual.

Food Pairing: White meat in sauce, mild fish, goat cheese, apples, pears, asparagus, veggie risotto, Mediterranean seafood, sushi, smoked fish, etc.
