Description: Marqués de Riscal has been farming grapes and making wine for over 150 years. The first Rioja estate to bottle their wine and the first to age their wine in barrel. Marqués de Riscal was the pioneer in developing the Rueda region, as they saw an area with the right soils, climate, and native grape (Verdejo) to produce fresh, balanced white wines. This 100% organic wine comes from Riscal’s estate vineyards and crafted with minimal intervention. Aromas of lemongrass and quince on the nose supported by fresh green herbs and honeysuckle. The palate starts with tart acidity that glides across the mid-palate without being aggressive and a soft chalk-like minerality.
