Product description

Description: Lapostolle Wines was founded by Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle and her husband Cyril de Bournet in 1994. Alexandra is a member of the renowned family that has been dedicated for several generations to the production of high-quality wines in France. After visiting Chile, Alexandra and Cyril not only fell in love with the Colchagua Valley, they also detected the enormous potential of the country to produce premium wines due to its exceptional geographical character. The Lapostolle Grand Selection is sourced from the Rapel Valley, located in the central part of Chile, including the sub valleys of Cachapoal and Colchagua. This wine is super-solid for the price. Deep purple color with pleasant aromas of mullberry, black plum, spice, and violets. The palate reveals slightly gripping tannins and a touch of glycerine upfront. Black cherry, plum, and a touch of loam on the mid-palate. This is a great value wine that will hold for a few days after opening.

Food pairings: Cheeses (cheddar, jack, gorgonzola, gouda, swiss, etc. ) Barbecue, beef, grilled chicken, cranberry sauces, eggplant, hamburgers, lamb, steak, stews, casseroles, sausage, black olives, etc.
