Description: Lapostolle Wines was founded by Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle and her husband Cyril de Bournet in 1994. Alexandra is a member of a renowned family that has produced high-quality wines in France for several generations. After visiting Chile, Alexandra and Cyril fell in love with the Colchagua Valley, and its potential for producing premium wines due to its exceptional geographical character.Lapostolle Grand Selection is sourced from the Rapel Valley, located in the central part of Chile, including the sub valleys of Cachapoal and Colchagua. This wine is super-solid for the price. Deep purple color with pleasant aromas of mulberry, black plum, spice, and violets. The palate reveals slightly gripping tannins and a touch of glycerin upfront. Black cherry, plum, and a touch of loam on the mid-palate. This is a great value wine that will hold for a few days after opening.
