Description: The family has been cultivating the land since 1630, currently the 12th generation now runs the estate in Pouilly-Fume. All the knowledge and work of the previous winemaker passes down that information to the next generation. Kimmeridgian marl covers most of the Pouilly vineyards, composed whether of clay- limestone, limestone rocks, flint, and sometimes fossils in different situations. The soils are generally slower to warm in the spring and require regular tilling. This creates the perfect condition for a lovely, mineral-driven white wine with vibrant acidity and a long flinty finish.
