Description: The Pettygrove label is named after NW Pettygrove Street in Portland’s Slabtown district, home to the Fullerton Wines Tasting Room. It honors Francis Pettygrove, the founder who won the legendary coin toss to name the city of Portland. This wine has a brilliant, bright ruby red color. On the nose it feels approachable and elegant with dominant aromas of fresh cherry and raspberry, accented by subtle baking spices, vanilla, and a distinct earthy minerality. The palate is juicy and well-balanced. It mirrors the nose with red fruit flavors, a lithe frame, and a "perfectly balanced" finish that is dry without being bitter.
