Description: Casa Santos Lima produces surprisingly good, value-driven wines. Founded at the turn of the 20th century by Joaquim Santos Lima, one of the most renowned producers and exporters of his day, the estate is now helmed by his granddaughter, Maria João and great-grandson José Luis. The wine color is pale-straw with aromas of tropical and stone-fruit (pineapple, banana, white peach) characteristics. The palate displays a slight effervescent texture with medium-weight. This is tropical fruit-driven with a dry finish, makes for an excellent crowd please for those that like this style.
