Description: Established in Austria-Galicia, which was part of Poland between 1918 - 1939. This distillery has been owned by the Baczewski family since 1782. During its long history the Monopolowa vodka has won numerous awards for its taste and quality and is still consistently rated as a world class vodka.
VODKA DEFINITION: A neutral distilled and filtered spirit, traditionally made by the distillation of fermented cereal grains - corn, rye, wheat or sorghum- and occasionally from potatoes. ( sugar beets and apples can also be used, though not as common.)
