Description: Leonardo Erazo created “A Los Viñateros Bravos” winery in the heart of the Itata region of southern Chile. The vines of Itata thrive in the steep hillside landscape without irrigation. Bush vines are very old in this region, and finding 100 years old vines is not uncommon there. The volcanic and granitic soil provide an extraordinary environment for root growth resulting in very healthy vineyards. This sparkling Pet Nat (Petillant Natural) exhibits a flavor profile that is all about terroir; earthy and yeasty characteristic dominant this dry sparkling wine with notes of lemon and tangerine in the background. There is a pleasant minerality and zesty acidity, signature of the granitic soil, that lingers, leaving a clean and invigorating sensation.
