Description: The extraordinary terroir on the northern slope of Etna, Europe’s largest active volcano, produces wine with great personality. Firriato’s volcanic soils conspire to create grapes that can withstand cold, have balanced sugar and brilliant color.
Ruby red with lively purple hues, Le Sabbie dell’Etna Rosso offers a delicious and complex bouquet of cinnamon, black pepper, blueberry, blackcurrant, black cherry and dried violet. The palate is vivacious and well-balanced, rich, warm and refined, with smooth tannins, persistent aromatics and a juicy finish.
