Description: The Family Foraster has been growing grapes in the Conca de Barbera region for over 150 years. In 1998, Julieta and her son Ricard took over the winery and started focusing on local varietals, as they use all estate fruit. The wine is a transparent ruby red color with aromas of earthy clay, leather and red brambly fruit. Light-bodied with good acid/ alcohol balance with firm tannins and lovely terroir expression. This is a perfect food wine that can be enjoyed by itself as well.
