Description: Since 1978 Marietta have been crafting amazing wine, hands-on through every step and dedicated to every detail. Inspired by Marietta’s original cult wine, Old Vine Red. Made in a Provençale, direct-press style from some of the oldest Syrah and Grenache vines in California, it is fresh, nuanced, and perfectly balanced to enjoy with food or on its own. As always with the “OVR” wines, it delivers a lot more substance and pleasure than one might expect. This rosé opens with a radiant bouquet of ruby grapefruit, orange sorbet, and potpourri, underscored by a whisper of fresh mint. Its hue evokes rose quartz and sunlit sandstone, shimmering with exceptional purity and vitality. Its palate has a burst of tangy crispness, succulent red currant, and a texture steeped in minerality that lingers gracefully. Hints of pink peppercorn encircle a plush core, finishing with just the right touch of zesty brightness. Invigorating, spirited, and utterly delightful.
