Description: The estate has been passed down from father to son since 1911. Over five generations, the family has developed deep expertise in vineyard management, grape growing and harvesting, as well as vinification and cellar aging. In 1972, Ludovic’s father, Jean-Paul, began bottling and commercializing the wine. This wine is a great representation of an good Beaujolais. Light ruby/burgundy color throughout and very transparent at the center. Aromas of fauna, ripe red fruit compote, and a touch of oxidation. On the palate the wine displays a lovely expression of red fruit and crushed red hibiscus flowers layered over granite. The tannins are integrated with a touch of red licorice on the finish. Really good alcohol/ acid balance that makes this a light, approachable wine to serve by itself or with food for any season.

Food pairing: Cheese, charcuterie (cold cuts), chicken (grilled or roasted), fish in red wine sauce, ham, hamburgers, mushrooms, pizza, pork, greek salads, salmon, spicy dishes, turkey, grilled tuna.
