Notes: Biodynamic, unfiltered, 50-55 yr old vines, excellent ratings across the board.
Description: Located on the slopes of Neive, renowned area for making Barbaresco. Aged in new, medium toasted French oak for 20-22 months. Then it is transfered to stainless steel vats for 3 months before bottling. Then the Barbaresco rest in bottle for another 12 months.
Ripe red cherry, currants, and flora upfront. Layered with notes of mocha and spice toward the mid-palate with tobacco on the finish. Very fine, polished tannins with a long finish.
Decanting is suggested.
