Description: Located on the slopes of Neive, a renowned area for making Barbaresco. Aged in new, medium toasted French oak for 20-22 months, then transferred to stainless steel vats for 3 months before bottling. Finally, the Barbaresco rests in the bottle for another 12 months.
Ripe red cherry, currants, and flora upfront. Layered with notes of mocha and spice toward the mid-palate, with tobacco on the finish. Very fine, polished tannins with a long finish.
Decanting is suggested.
