Description: Mauricio was born in the east of Mendoza, in Rivadavia. After gaining experience in different wineries, he became CEO and Winemaker for Enrique Foster winery in 2002. By that year, he also developed his own line of wines under his own name. At that time when only stainless steel was used, he saw that concrete was better for the evolution of his wines. Mauricio’s innovative nature and constant search for quality, led him to launch the first Argentinian unoaked wine in 2003. Deep violet-red color. Spicy aromas. Ripe red pepper and cherries. Great amplitude in the mouth. Very good structure. Soft, elegant and persistent.
Food pairings: Beef (roasted and/or stewed), barbecue, Mexican cuisine, pizza, mushroom dishes, sausages, empanadas, etc.
