Description: A 4th generational family farm, Kanonkop Estate is one of the oldest of the Pinotage vineyards located in South Africa. Operating since the 1930’s and facilitated by brothers Johann and Paul Krige, Kanonkop combines traditional and modern techniques. Grapes are fermented in concrete, then aged in oak barrels. This multi award-winning winery produces one of Cape Town’s finest vintages.
Aromas of mocha, spice, red currants and cherries are present with hints of raspberry resulting in a lengthy, savory finish.
