Description: Angus Paul Wines has a passion for South African heritage varietals and uses minimal intervention wine making to produce wines that could only come from the windy Cape. This bottling is produced from a single hilltop vineyard, located in the Polkadraai Hills – a region well known for outstanding Chenin. Boney granite soil, coupled with the harsh winds of South Easter work in concert to create a racy expression of a warm climate chenin blanc. Aromas of orchard blossoms and green pear. Ripe acidity rushes across the palate with waves of white stone fruit and golden delicious apple underlined by the seashell and flint characteristic of the appellation.
Food Pairing: Seared tuna, spicy foods, white meats, avocado salad, etc.
