Description: In the late 90s, brothers Panagiotis and Konstantinos Koukos decided to create Koukos Winery, and through it to share their love of good wine. A small winemaking facility around the Strofylia ecosystem, 35 kilometres southwest of Patras. It is a modern family business, which relies exclusively on the production and bottling of wine from the family’s privately-owned vineyards. On the nose, it reveals a rich play of aromas characterized by floral, fresh citrus, and a subtle spiciness. Hints of dried herbs and a touch of dried honey and fresh acidity harmoniously rounds out the palate.
Food Pairing: Grilled seafood, shellfish (crab and lobster), dishes with a touch of lemon, etc.
