Description: Epiphany Vineyard in McLaren Valley is owned by Tony Parkinson. These tough Shiraz vines produce rich flavours in their berries as they strive to 'populate or perish'. The balance between richness and tannin is evident upon entry. A medium to full-bodied wine with underlying acid tension and edge, make this red wine perfect wine to serve with or without food. You could serve this alongside eggplant parmigiana, barbecued meats, or curried ramen. Don't be afraid to cellar some of this wine too for short to medium term storage. Food pairings: Hard cheeses, peking duck, eggplant, hamburgers, mushroom dishes, ribs, pork venison, salmon, grilled sausages, etc.
