Description: The Pantaleone winery is a small family-run organic winery run by two sisters Federica and Francesca. The choice to farm organic is the best way to preserve a natural balance between the territory and the surrounding vineyards, thus creating a wine with terrior. The vineyards and the cellar are immersed in a valley about 450 meters ASL. The wine reveals straw-yellow in color with green reflections. Aromas of mineral salts and wet stone. The palate is dry and crisp with mineral salts upfront with lots of wet stone and touch of citrus lime toward the finish. This is a great example of a mineral-driven wine with a salty profile.
Food pairing: Fried foods (chicken, fish), seafood/vegetable tempura, clams, oysters, raw bar, etc.
