Description: Inspired by the Harlem Renaissance during Prohibition. Harlem Standard is distilled in Indiana and blends and bottle their whiskey in Bardstown, Kentucky. The heart, hustle, and soul of Harlem is woven into the very fabric of the brand. Founded by Harlem native and every bottle is crafted to be smooth and refined for the modern palate and connoisseur.
American Whiskey Definition: A whiskey distilled from one or a combination of fermented grain (Corn, Barley, Rye, Wheat, etc) to no more than 95% ABV. Must taste like what we know as a whiskey in general and stored in oak barrel. It must be bottled with a minimum of 40% ABV. In order to be classified as a American “Straight” Whiskey it has to be aged for at least two years in new, charred oak for a minimum of two years. Straight whiskey cannot include any additives of flavor or color.
