Description: Red Newt Cellars was founded in 1998 by David and Debra Whiting. Before that David had worked as a cellar master and winemaker at a few wineries while Debra was supervising microbiology labs at Cornell University. This wine is made with the Niagara grape which is part of the all-American Vitis Labrusca species. Aromas of white concord, lychee, and wool. On the palate the wine exhibits white concord and lychee character. If you love white grape juice but wish it was for adults only, you're in the right place. Crisp and fresh fruit flavors with the perfect level of sweetness for those that like semi-sweet wine.
