Description: Savuto is just about as old-world as it get for wine cultivation. The Odoardi family has farmed the land for generations, however the department of agriculture decided to expand the Savuto D.O.C. so they decided to leave the D.O.C. by name only. This was due to their concern that the Savuto D.O.C. may become convoluted. We can assure you this wine is Savuto in terroir and character. This full-bodied wine is delightfully complex, while still easy-drinking, with complex flavors of red fruits, butterscotch, burnt orange glaze, and a soft mineral tone. This is a wine that is equally suited for a romantic dinner or a spirited conversation.
