Description: Tellus Vinea is a simpler, more affordable wine produced by renowned Saint-Emilion grand cru Chateau Belregard-Figeac. The grapes are harvested by hand from vineyards that border the Lalande de Pomerol appellation. The vineyard is managed meticulously with leaf trimming and minimal chemical use.
The wine is predominantly Merlot with a touch of Cabernet Franc in the blend that provides additional structure. Using only stainless steel and concrete tanks, the wine highlights a pure fruit character, and is rich with aromas of plum and dark berries.
Food Pairing: Red meats to game, steaks to stews, charcuterie, etc.
