Description: Domaine de La Madone is located on the hillside of la Modane in Fleurie. This hillside is often considered by connoisseurs to have the best growing conditions for wine in the area. Expressive Gamay outside of Beaujolais’ band of’ cru’ villages. A round, light-bodied red, with creamy red and black currant fruit, dried herb and citrus notes. Easy-drinking with a fresh and vibrant finish. Every year Domaine de la Madone finishes at the top of Nouveau rankings in Wine Spectator, The New York Times, and other major wine publications.
