Description: What a show stopper and what a fabulous year for Barolo. Vineyards sit on calcareous soil with south facing exposure 280 meters above sea level. Medium toasted French oak for 24 months. An additional 12 months in bottle before release.
Intense, vibrant, and ruby red color. Aromas of fresh cherry, raspberry, and earth. This is a phenomenal wine that lasts forever, perfected with balanced tannins and well integrated acidity. The Rivetti family believes these wines have the ability to age 25-30 years.
Food Pairings: Ideal with grilled food, sauced and elaborate red meat as well as wild game, etc.
