The dry climate of the valley, and particularly of Aosta, an area subject to drought, is ideal to guarantee a perfect ripening of the grapes, and it favors the health of the grapes and the balance of all the components in the wine. The aromas are exalted by the amazing exposure, and by the strong temperature excursion. This is truly 'viticoltura de montagna' (Mountain Viticulture). Most of the work is still done by hand due to the rocky formation of the hills. No pesticides or herbicides are used.
Distinctly Pinot Noir with all its fresh barnyard aromas. The palate exhibits a light-bodied, linear feel that expands its fruit expression on the mid-palate. Tart cranberry-cherry and saddle leather, with an undertone of granite and limestone. Bright red fruit and game on the finish.
