A lightly sweet wine with a fantastic bouquet of apples, peaches, and white flower fragrances. Bright acidity balances the sweetness. This Riesling is from Rheinhessen wine district of Germany, in particular, from their Alsheimer Reinblick vineyard. “Spatlese,” one of the top classes in the German wine quality classification, guarantees it is made from quality fully ripened grapes, which indeed translates the depth of flavors. As far back as 1780, the Windisch family has lived in the village of Mommenheim near Nierstein and Mainz.
