With only 7ha under vine, the producer makes miniscule quantities of wine with neglected local grapes such as Pignoletto and Negrettino. At an altitude of 180 meters above sea level that borders on a natural park, they practice organic farming. As the name suggests, this dark ruby wine has concentrated black fruity flavors that is balanced with good acidity. It has firm structure with chewy yet fine-grain tannins. This black beauty calls for salami, aged hard cheese, sun-dried tomato flavors.
