Description: Complex, subtle nose of pear, spices, citrus, herbs and toasted bread. Fine beads with a silky mousse and a rich, golden color. Established in 1633 in the Grand Cru village of Verzy, 12th generation Alain Sacy still makes and develops Grand Cru Champagnes. This Champagne was a personal favorite of legendary singer Josephine Baker. Technically , this is a NM (negocient manipulant: a champagne maker who buys grapes to make wine), but it is really an RM (grower champagne) becuase the grapes come from their siblings' vineyards.
