Chateau de Castelneau is a small family owned winery in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux, which refers to the promontory contained between the two rivers and cleared by the Knights Templar and Benedictine monks for the elevation of wines. The estate vineyards are in the family for the last 200 years.
Made in the traditional vinification, this smooth red was aged in barrels for 6 to 9 months for matured roundness and elegant structure. Inviting bouquet of fruit, spice and a hint of earthiness. The “superieur” classification assures this rounded red is a notch above a standard Bordeaux red.
