The big news from Matteo Ascheri is the introduction of this new wine, the Barolo “Ascheri vineyard”, inaugurated with the 2010 vintage.
Matteo describes it as a wine that is as much about place as it is family roots: Mateo’s last name “Ascheri” is also the official vineyard designate. Barolo Ascheri will only be produced in the best years.
“At the end I want to make wines that are expression of elegance, finesse, natural concentration and above all natural balance.” - Matteo Ascheri
