Description: Bodegas Neleman concentrates its efforts on farming local varietals organically. Neleman’s vineyards are in the hills to the East of Valencia at Casas del Rey. They are on a small terraced plot 600 meters above sea level, surrounded by olive trees, almond trees, and the Parque Natural de las Hoces del Cabriel, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overseen and tended by passionate Spanish Master Organic Winemaker Diego Fernández Pons, the vines have been carefully planted to reap the most from the soil that gives them such foundation and heart. Elegance is always the ambition. The color is light yellow straw color with aromas of fresh hay, wet stone, and honeysuckle. The palate displays a dry, slightly tannic wine with racy acidity and medium weight. Expressions of Quenepa (a South American fruit similar to lychee but less sweet), white pepper and lime character.
Food Pairing: Roasted chicken, grilled or stewed fish, pork (chops, roast), herbs, salad, seafood, vegetable dishes, etc.
