Region: Spain> Ribera del Duero.
Notes: 18 mo. barrel aging. Min. 8 mo. bottle aging.
Description: Amongst the flood of overly fruity style of the modern Ribera del Duero, this wine shines with elegance and classicism. The family owns 135-hectare vineyards in Pedrosa de Duero, with over 30-40 years old Tempranillo vines that grow on privileged soils of chalky-clay at an altitude of 800m above sea level with an Atlantic influence.
Meaty, sumptuous and full of character with aromas of cherry compote, boysenberry, pipe tobacco and vanilla-balsam accents. In the mouth, it is balanced, polished tannins, and voluminous.
Food Pairings: Red Meats, Lamb, Charcuterie, Hard Cheese.
