Description: Can Sumoi is an estate between Baix Penedes and Alt Camp, where the Montmell Montains surround the Pla de Manlleu, near what was once the Marmellar municipality “Land of quinces”. Now it is a land of holm oaks and scrubland, of old vines, raised on the plain, vented by the marinade, wild. Currently owned by the renowned biodynamic estate, Raventos i Blanc. Raventos is all about obtaining the true reflection of the terroir that encompasses the biosphere. This is an elegant dry rosé that brings aroma, appearance, and substance in harmony. Displaying pale pink and rustic orange hues with a touch of CO2 and tartrates due to it being unfined and unfiltered. This is a light to med.-bodied wine exhibiting an elegant bouquet of red pear and red hibicus flower. The palate reveals rose water, crisp acidity, and a soft calcareous mineral tone.
Food pairings: Grilled salmon, cured meats, crab, fish, pâte, anchovies, olives, paella, red peppers, salad, grilled veggies, etc.
